1992

Founding partners Henner Schierenbeck & Bernd Rolfes, both professors in finance and bank management, establish zeb management consultancy in Münster, Germany.

1997

zeb branches out into Austria and Switzerland with the opening of offices in Vienna and Zurich.

2001

A second location in Germany with an office in Munich and our new Warsaw office in Poland opens at the end of the year. Also, our subsidiary zeb.information.technology is incorporated.

2008

zeb is now present in Prague and Budapest where Slovakian clients are advised from as well.

2011

zeb establishes an office in Luxembourg. Also, compentus GmbH, an independent management consultancy offering services to the cooperative banking sector, is incorporated into our group of companies as a new subsidiary.

2012

With its 20th anniversary, zeb acquired and integrated the leading Scandinavian consultancy Crescore in Sweden. Additionally, zeb also acquired the consultancy Resolving with its office location in Milan

2018 and beyond

With over 1.000 employees, zeb is a leading consulting company in the financial services sector. Driven by the desire to be the best, we continue to develop ourselves. In 2016 zeb London and Amsterdam were opened.
